    fourTheorem CEO Peter Elger gave a talk on ‘AI as a Service - the fast track to AI with Serverless’, discussing the commoditization of AI and Machine Learning. Peter was also joined by CTO Eoin Shanaghy to host the ‘Cat Detector Workshop’, where participants were shown how to build a Serverless Image Recognition System on AWS.

    Eoin Shanaghy gave a talk entitled "Choosing the right compute and event services for AWS migration”. This talk outlined tactics & data in a convenient cheat-sheet style format, to help determine what services to select when migrating to AWS.

    QCon London is a conference for senior software engineers and architects on the patterns, practices and use cases leveraged by the worlds most innovative software shops.


    CEO Peter Elger spoke on how to leverage AI services with Javascript. Most people associate AI and Machine Learning with the Python language. This talk explored how to get started building AI enabled platforms and services using full stack Javascript and Serverless technologies. With practical examples drawn from real world projects this talk will get you up and running with AI using your existing Node.js chops - no PhD required.

    QCon London is a conference for senior software engineers and architects on the patterns, practices and use cases leveraged by the worlds most innovative software shops.


    Our CTO, Eoin Shanaghy gave a talk covering the highs and lows of building Node.js apps with Serverless. The open source, JavaScript-based SLIC Starter project was presented, showing how it is used to quickly adopt best practices and get to a successful production deployment without the pain. Eoin also showed how TypeScript-based Infrastructure as Code is the way forward!
